| Falling
Away at the End of Time
January 2006
This is a collection of verses showing both allegorically
and directly that true Christian faith will be in peril at
the end of this age.
We should note that there will be no further national repentance
or great revival in the earth prior to Armageddon, just as
there was no repentance or revival that preceded
Noah’s flood or the destruction of Sodom.
The next true revival upon this planet will not be the work
of humans; it will be the work of the glorified Sons of God
operating as the Body of Christ. This will occur after the
battle of Armageddon and at the establishment of the long
awaited Kingdom of God.
The arrival of the Sons of God and the Battle of Armageddon
are clearly unexpected by the majority of people living on
the earth.
Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for
in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 But of the times and
the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so
cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace
and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail
upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Mat 24:42-44 Watch therefore: for ye know
not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if
the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief
would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered
his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for
in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
As of this writing, we shall see a continual dissolution
of Christianity in the coming years which shall only intensify
more and more until the end of this age.
KJV Numbers 13:31-32 But the men that went
up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people;
for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil
report of the land which they had searched unto the children
of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to
search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof;
and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
[Even today's Christians will become cowards as they see the
enemy approach.]
Mat 24: 8-13 All these are the beginning
of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted,
and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for
my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall
betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false
prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity
shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that
shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
KJV Matthew 13:3-9 And he spake many things
unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth
to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side,
and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony
places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they
sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when
the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no
root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and
the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into
good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold,
some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let
him hear. [Most of the seed sown will never bring forth a
new plant.]
KJV Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but
few are chosen.
What we can expect upon planet earth now is an ever expanding
iniquity until the arrival of the Firstborn Sons. Prepare
yourself to feel very much alone.
KJV Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall
abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
KJV Mark 13:16 And let him that is in the
field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
KJV Luke 9:59-62 And he said unto another,
Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury
my father. ... And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put
his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom
of God.
KJV John 6:67-68 Then said Jesus unto the
twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him,
Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal
life.
KJV Romans 1:28 And even as they did not
like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over
to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
KJV 1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under
my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means,
when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
KJV 1 Corinthians 10:1-6 Moreover, brethren,
I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers
were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And
were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink
the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual
Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with
many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown
in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to
the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also
lusted.
KJV 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive
you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there
come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed,
the son of perdition;
KJV 2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres
withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of
corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
KJV 2 Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken
me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto
Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
KJV Titus 1:16 They profess that they know
God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient,
and unto every good work reprobate.
KJV Hebrews 12:15-16 Looking diligently
lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness
springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest
there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for
one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
KJV 2 Peter 2:20-22 For if after they have
escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge
of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled
therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than
the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known
it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb,
The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that
was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
KJV 2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers
together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the
grace of God in vain.
KJV Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away,
to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to
themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
KJV 1 Timothy 1:6 From which some having
swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
KJV James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the
perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not
a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall
be blessed in his deed.
